Goud Veia is a ZAFT pilot with who appeared in Gundam Seed Astray series.
Personality
Goud Veia is originally a soldier of the ZAFT forces, but later left the military because he hates the war. During and after the initial Eleven Months of the first Blood Valantine War, Goud develops a split personality problem, one personality is kind, helpful, the other is revengeful and wants to kill anyone around him, including Elijah Kiel. Bad noises would cause his fierce personality to come out, while soothing music such as the songs of Lacus Clyne will calm him down and the gentle side resurfaces.

He is a ZAFT ace and wears the red ace uniform; with his outstanding skills he brought ZAFT many victories turning the tide to OMNI ENFORCERS Mass Forces.
History
Goud Veia pilots a customized red colored GINN with exceptional combat ability. He was known as "The Hero Of ZAFT" because once when all friendly forces were annihilated he managed to defeat the enemy fleet single-handedly. In the next year, he did not lose once and opposing enemies were always worried about their fleets being annihilated by him. He later left the military because he hated the war and arrived at the Literia space colony. It was at the colony that he met and befriended Elijah Kiel, a mercenary employed by ZAFT to kill him. When the EA fleet attacked the Literia space colony, Goud launched and his fierce personality startd to surface, and he fought Elijah to a draw. Goud then begged Elijah to kill him and to end his suffering. He was later killed by Gai Murakumo who was accompanying the EA forces to the Literia space colony. Later, it was revealed that he was actually a Socius clone who had escaped from the EA very early on and his split personality might have been a side effect of the imperfect mental conditioning employed then.
Gundam SEED VS Astray
Goud Veia returns once more as a Carbon Human created by Librarian Works and he was the pilot of LV-ZGMF-X23S Vent Saviour Gundam. As the Serpent Tail (except Gai) was on Earth, the Librarian Works sent out Goud Veia piloting the unit and appears before the members of the mercenary group. Goud Veia announces to Elijah his arrival, badly shocking him. The meeting was interpreted by the arrival of Orb's Murasame and he left, promising that he will be back. A few days later, they met again and a battle soon started as Elijah refused to join him. During the battle, Goud Veia was pleased to find out that Elijah's skill had improved. He then tricked Elijah into opening the cockpit door of his customised ZAKU and hijacked it so that he could escape from Librarian Works. He left Elijah with the Vent Saviour so that he could better deal with Librarian Works. His current whereabouts are unknown.

A Zeon ace pilot, Anavel Gato who appears in Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memories also single-handedly hold on Federation pursue forces while Zeon forces retreat, same as Goud Veia single-handedly defeating enemy forces.
