At the end of One Year war, the surviving Gobbles had been reassigned to delivery duties, using their external mounts to ferry weapons and ammunition to mobile suits fighting on the front lines - a dangerous duty that was entrusted to veteran fighter pilots who had never switched over to mobile suits.
