Gaily (ゲイリー Geirī?) is a character that appears in Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory. He piloted a MS-09F/trop Dom Tropen.
Background
Gaily was a mobile suit pilot for the Principality of Zeon during the One Year War. After the Principality's defeat in the war, Gaily joined the Delaz Fleet, comprised of remnants of Zeon that refused to submit to Federation rule.
History
On 13 October U.C. 0083, the Delaz Fleet initiated the first phase of Operation Stardust by blitzing Earth Federation's Torrington Base in Australia. 2nd Lt. Gaily was a member of Delaz Fleet's stormtrooper MS team, alongside Adamski and Bob, aiding Maj. Anavel Gato in his theft of the nuclear-armed RX-78GP02A Gundam "Physalis". During the raid, his Dom Tropen destroyed Raban Karcs' Zaku F2 by slicing the Zaku in half with heat saber, killing the pilot in the process. He also destroyed a GM Kai inside the base with Raketen Bazooka rounds, but he couldn't make the escape with Gato's Gundam GP02 as his mobile suit was destroyed in a subsequent exchange of fire with Federation troops.
