The GNW-004 Gundam Throne Vier is a mobile suit that appeared in Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Hakai ni Yoru Saisei Re:Build and is piloted by Ali al-Saachez.

Technology & Combat Characteristics[]

During their creation, some of the first three Gundam Thrones' spare parts were acquired by Ribbons Almark. These parts were later used to assemble the fourth Throne unit, the Gundam Throne Vier, with the missing parts replaced by new ones designed and built from scratch. Improvements were also made, and as this mobile suit is customized for Ali al-Saachez, it displayed unmatched combat performance when he is at its helm. Although the Gundam Throne Vier is not equipped with a GN Handgun like the Gundam Throne Zwei and Gundam Throne Drei, it can still dock with the Gundam Throne Eins to power up the latter's GN Launcher. The Gundam Throne Vier also has a Trans-Am-like system known as 'Trans-Am Tau' even though it is powered by the GN Drive Tau.

Armaments[]

  • GN Buster Sword
A large physical sword that serves as the Throne Vier's primary melee weapon, it is stored on the back when not in use. The Throne Vier's GN Buster Sword has a different shape from that of the Gundam Throne Zwei.
  • GN Beam Saber
Melee weapon that emits a beam blade made of GN Particles when drawn. A pair of GN Beam Sabers are stored on top of Throne Vier's shoulders when not in use. Unlike other Gundam Thrones, the Throne Vier's GN Beam Sabers are of a cylindrical shape.
  • GN Shield
The Throne Vier has a small GN Shield equipped on the right forearm, and a larger GN Shield on the left forearm.
  • GN Fang
Like the Throne Zwei, the Throne Vier is equipped with six small remote-controlled weapons called GN Fangs. The Throne Vier's GN Fangs are stored on the added rear skirt armor.
  • Whip
Mounted on the left arm, but the exact location is unknown. The Whip can be used to tie up an enemy machine, restricting its movement, and can also serve as a melee weapon.

Special Equipment & Features[]

  • Trans-Am Tau
  • Bit Control System
A system that allows a mobile suit pilot to control the machine's remote weaponry.

History[]

In the alternate version of events featured in Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Hakai ni Yoru Saisei Re:Build, Ali al-Saachez recruited the Team Trinity upon orders from his boss (Ribbons Almark) and together, they caused troubles for the Celestial Being. Ali was also given the Gundam Throne Vier. During the final battle against Celestial Being, Ali was defeated and the Gundam Throne Vier was destroyed.

Notes & Trivia[]

  • Like its sibling units, the name "Throne" derives from a class of Angels according to Gods will who dispensed justice. Vier, is the German word for number 4.
