GNEX-002V N-Extreme Gundam Vicious is a prototype close-quarters mobile suit first appearing in Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. 2 XBoost as part of the Project N-Extreme collaboration. It is piloted by Barka Nil.
Technology and Combat characteristics[]
As the second and earliest known unit of the N-Extreme series, the Vicious lacks the more advanced technology and Back Weapons System units, though still features many of its own unique gimmicks and weapons and due to Barka's fighting style, possesses far greater fighting ability than its younger counterparts. Unique to the Vicious its ability to transform into an MA mode in the shape of a dragon featuring its own weapons and features and effectively serving as an alternate battle mode and its silhouette grants it a particularly savage appearance, befitting the name Vicious.
Armaments[]
- Arm Gatling
- An automatic beam weapon located on the Vicious' forearms for mid-range attacks
- Mega Cannon
- A beam launcher located within the chest area that can fire off massive sustained energy blasts.
- Tail Rod
- A weapon similar in function to the OZ-13MS Gundam Epyon's Heat Rod. Unlike the Epyon however, the rod functions as a proper tail when not in used and can be detached to act as a whip and is capable of extending its length. The Tail Rod is also equipped with beam emitters at the tip to form a spear-like weapon and these spikes can be fired as projectiles.
- Beam War Scythe
- Twin scythe weapons located in the unit's wing binders. Rather than a curved shape, the beam emitters form serrated beam spikes to add in additional damage. These spikes can also be activated while stored within the binders and their length extended for surprise attacks or fired as projectiles in MA mode. The scythes can also be connected to form a double-edged spinning bladed weapon.
- Dragon Breath
- While in MA mode, the Vicious can spew forth high-powered jet flames from its mouth compartment, powerful enough to cook mobile suits.
- Dragon Roar
- A supersonic weapon located with the MA mode's mouth, capable emitting extremely powerful shockwaves that can disorient and knock away mobile suits.

- When in use, the Vicious' frame glows a bright red, enhancing its capabilities even further.

Trivia[]
- The Vicious is mostly inspired by the OZ-13MS Gundam Epyon and NRX-0013 Gundam Virsago due to its color scheme and dragon motifs. Unlike the Epyon however, its MA mode is a traditional alternate battle mode rather than a simple high speed transportation form.
