GF7-013NJ Yamato Gundam is a mobile fighter featured in Mobile Fighter G Gundam: 7th Fight. The unit was a mobile fighter of Neo Japan during the 7th Gundam Fight and was piloted by Shuuji Kurosu .
Technology & Combat Characteristics
The Yamato Gundam, piloted by Shuuji Kurosu, represented Neo Japan in the 7th Gundam Fight. The Yamato Gundam is equipped with two beam sabers, head mounted vulcans, and the signature "Shakunetsu Sunshine Finger" ability. This attack focuses heat into the Gundam's hand, which causes it to glow and allows it to easily crush the head of an enemy Gundam. It contains a Emotion Energy System, which if given enough input allows the Gundam to power up significantly. As most mobile fighters do not carry physical shields, the defensive capabilities of Yamato Gundam rely on Shuuji himself.
Armaments
- Vulcan Gun
- Rarely used, the vulcans are mounted in the forehead. Which are primarily used for close range defense or for thwarting movement.
- Beam Sabers
- Two beam sabers are stored on the left sideskirt. These are primarily used for slicing into opponents' Gundams or parrying other beam attacks.
Ultimate Attacks
- Shakunetsu Sunshine Finger
- The Yamato Gundam's signature move, the Shakunetsu Sunshine Finger concentrates a large amount of energy into the Yamato Gundam's hand, turning it light green. Domon then grabs the head of the opposing Gundam and crush it, thereby winning the match. Though the Yamato Gundam was powerful, it was only usable at close range.
- Choukyuu Haou Den'eidan
- The Yamato Gundam spins in a horizontal whirlwind as it flies along, allowing it to clear whole fields of enemies.
- Sekiha Tenkyoken
- The ultimate technique of the School of the Undefeated of the East. An 'earth-splitting, heaven-piercing' attack, usually launched as a devastating wave of energy.
History
The Yamato Gundam was the representing Mobile Fighter during the 7th Gundam fight during 32 F.C., which is piloted by Shuuji Kurosu. During the finals, A man by the name of Dr. Chaos, leading a terrorist force of the same name, creates a force of Death Army machines and gigantic Mobile Armor which he attempts to use to disrupt the Gundam Fight. The Shuffle Alliances, with the newfound power of their Shuffle Crests fights against him and he is defeated by Shuuji. Unfortunately, as this happened right in the middle of the finals Shuuji and company are de facto disqualified due to their failure to reach the designated country by the appointed time, and Wolf Heinrich becomes the champion of the Gundam Fight. Because of this Shuuji is dismissed as the Gundam Fighter of Neo Japan and choses to leave and instead become the Gundam Fighter of Neo Hong Kong assuming the name of Master Asia.
