The GF13-055NI Neros Gundam is a mobile fighter that appears in TV anime Mobile Fighter G Gundam.
Overview[]
The mobile fighter representing Neo Italy in the 13th Gundam Fight. It has well-balanced performance, and it is said to have had the reputation of being "one of the Gundams that can aim for the championship". Its heavy appearance reflects the warriors of ancient Rome, but it is highly maneuverable.
Most mobile fighters with melee combat specifications usually have solid weapons for close combat as their main armament[1]. However, the Neros Gundam's main armament was a beam weapon called the "Satyricon Beam"[1]. This was because its pilot, Michelo, was skilled in kicking techniques, and this weapon had 16 beams, 8 on each leg, which allowed it to focus or disperse the beam depending on the strength and angle of his kicks[1].
The special moves "Silver Legs" and "Rainbow Legs" also took advantage of the characteristics of the weapons, greatly contributing to improving the melee performance[1]. As a result, the Neros Gundam gained a high level of fighting capability without the use of any portable weapons[1]. In addition, the unit is also equipped with other fixed armaments such as a head Vulcan guns, shoulder beams, and arm claws[2].
Armaments[]
- Vulcan Gun
- A pair of two machine guns built into the head, one on each side. They are mainly used for checking, but Michelo also used them against living people.
- Shoulder Beam
- A pair of beam cannons are equipped on each shoulder. When not in use, they are stowed away.
- Arm Claw
- A pair of claw-shaped weapons are folded into the arm for fighting purposes. However, due to the specifications of this machine, which mainly uses kicking, it is rarely used as a means of attack.
- Satyricon Beam
- A total of 16 beam cannons, 8 in each leg, are built into the body. They are mainly used for special attacks.
Special Attacks[]
- Silver Legs
- A special move fired from the Satyricon beam attached to the legs. Due to Michelo's specialty footwork, the power of the beam is doubled compared to the normal beam. The beam can be freely controlled to converge or disperse, allowing it to attack a wide area.
- Rainbow Legs
- A special move with silver legs powered up by DG cells. It releases countless shockwaves from the rainbow-colored trajectory of its kicks.
History[]
The Gundam representing Neo Italy, the country had a long history of combat, most notably the Roman Empire of the ancient world. While the Neros Gundam may have been in the tradition of the old Roman Empire, Gundam Fighter Michelo Chariot was not. As a Mafia boss, Michelo and his gang of thugs terrorized Neo Italy, and Michelo used his Neros Gundam for his crimes.
Michelo would initially encounter Domon Kasshu and his Shining Gundam at the beginning of the 13th Gundam Fight. He attacked Domon and his team before the fight even started, and even during the fight, he did his utmost to destroy the Shining Gundam and the city of Spain, but in the end, his head was destroyed by Domon's special move, the "Shining Finger," and he lost the right to participate in the finals. However, after Michelo joined the Devil Gundam Legion, he was able to participate in the finals thanks to Wong Yunfat's trickery.
The Neros Gundam was consequently repaired with DG cells and gained the ability to transform into the Gundam Heaven's Sword. In Neo Hong Kong during the final league, Michelo once again challenged Domon now aboard the God Gundam, and transformed into the Gundam Heaven's Sword form and began to overwhelm the God Gundam, but it was defeated when irradiated with energy from the "God Finger," causing it to crash and reverting back to its Neros Gundam form. Later, during the final Battle Royale on Lantau Island, it again transformed into Heaven's Sword and attacked Domon. It fought to the death against the Dragon Gundam and Bolt Gundam, which joined the battle.
