The G-Fighter Bomber Type is a variant of the G-Fighter. It was first featured in the original design series MSV-R: The Return of Johnny Ridden.

Technology & Combat Characteristics

Based on the G-Fighter, the G-Fighter Bomber Type has several modifications to make it better as a bomber unit. The caterpillar treads are removed, and the space that was designed to store RX-78-2 Gundam is used to hold fuel tanks and bombs. The vulcan guns are also moved to a position on the air intakes. Finally, the beam cannons of the original G-Fighter are replaced by a removable model, allowing it to switch to alternate weapons such as missile launchers.
