The G-Fighter Assault Landing Type is a variation of the G-Fighter Space Type developed after the One Year War for secret military units. Although the rapid advancement of mobile weapon technology made most vehicle obsolete, the G-Fighter Assault Landing Type is designed as a troop carrier and remained in service. Similar to G-Fighter Bomber Type, its beam cannons are replaced with removable models that can be replaced with other weapons, such as rocket launchers. Unlike G-Fighter Bomber Type or G-Fighter Space Type, it still has the caterpillar treads and can be used as a ground vehicle. The space that was designed to store RX-78-2 Gundam can carries soldier up to 30 men. Its wings have pylons designed to carry a Bunker Busters.
