The First Battle near Orb is a conflict of the First Alliance-PLANT War, featured in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED.

Aftermath[]
Afterward, the Archangel was taken to a secret Morgenröte hangar. From there, Murrue Ramius, Mu La Flaga, and Natarle Badgiruel were taken to meet with Uzumi Nara Athha. During the meeting, Uzumi offered to have the Archangel repaired, and in return, Orb would receive all current combat data gathered from the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam, and its pilot Kira Yamato would provide technical assistance to Morgenröte in the development of a natural-use operating system for the mass-produced MBF-M1 M1 Astray.[1][2] With no other options, Murrue agreed to Uzumi's terms. In less than a month, Kira successfully developed a natural-use operating system that put the M1 Astray's performance on par with ZAFT's mobile suits.[3] ZAFT would be given a report claiming that the Archangel had left Orb, but not believing it, the Zala Team snuck into Orb, where Athrun Zala's presence would alert Birdy and cause Kira to come face to face with his former friend once more.[1][3]

Notes & Trivia[]
- In Mobile Suit Gundam SEED: Tomo to Kimi to Koko de, Kira has the option of either chasing after Birdy or staying behind to complete the Astray OS. If he chooses to stay behind, the OS is done faster and the Archangel crew gets an Astray of their own.
