The First Attack on Side 2 is a conflict of the Gryps War, featured in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam.
Prelude[]
Seeking to bring a quick end to the Gryps War by any means necessary, the Titans sought to halt the AEUG’s progress by attacking the civilian spacenoids of the colonies. To that end, the Titans decided to launch a chemical weapons attack on Colony 25 of Side 2, intending to fill the colony with G3 poison gas, killing the entire population, to show the consequences of acting against the Titans. However, AEUG agents from the colony Sweetwater intercepted the information and relayed it to the Argama. Determined to prevent the Titans’ genocidal actions, Captain Bright Noa ordered the vessel to set course to Side 2.[1]
