The AMA-X4 Ahava Azieru is an experimental Newtype mobile armor that appears in the Mobile Suit Gundam Twilight Axis ONA. It is piloted by Arlette Almage.

Technology & Combat Characteristics

The AMA-X4 Ahava Azieru is a prototype Newtype exclusive mobile armor developed at the Maharaja Karn Memorial Institute during and after the First Neo Zeon War but left incomplete within Axis. The Ahava Azieru serves as a testbed for Newtype mental sensitive technology which is the predecessor of the Psycho-Frame.

The Ahava Azieru possesses many powerful beam weapons, including mega particle guns, mega beam rifles, a large beam saber, and a tail funnel. The mobile armor is also equipped with an I-field generator for defense.

A unique weapon on the Ahava Azieru is the tail funnel. It consists of 10 funnels attached to each other end-to-end on the lower hull of the mobile armor's main body, and detaching from each other when in active use. These funnels are capable of performing multi-vector attacks from far distances thanks to their control by a Newtype pilot through a psycommu connection.

History

This mobile armor was left incomplete within Axis. The unit was later reactivated hastily by Arlette to fight against the Birnam mobile suits. It engaged the RX-78KU-01 Kurwenal however the outdated mobile armor was disarmed and rendered immobile.
