The MSF-007SS Gundam Seltsam (ガンダムゼルトザーム, Gandamu Zerutozāmu^?) is a Gunpla introduced in Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE and is based on the MSF-007TE Gundam Tertium.

Technology & Combat Characteristics

A heavily modified version of the MSF-007TE Gundam Tertium created by Alus to serve as part of the One-Eyes forces. It departs greatly from ordinary customization rules, resulting in a strange silhouette with a massive monstrous right arm as the "Seltsam" in its name implies. This monstrous right arm, as well as part of the head unit, such as the oddly-shaped left antenna, served to keep its brainwashed pilot, The Masked Man, under Alus' control. In battle, the Gundam Seltsam displays demonic strength that far transcended the limits of common sense. It is able to face the BUILD DiVERS alone, making it one of the greatest threats for Hiroto Kuga and his friends.

Armaments

• Seltsam Arm

A monstrous right arm that gives the Gunpla a devilish impression. The Seltsam Arm is extremely powerful as its appearance implies and can be further extended by unfolding its frame. Due to its symmetrical design, it can also be attached as the left arm.

• Hyper Destlance

A massive lance-like close combat weapon. Its effective range and destructive power are further improved when it's utilized with the Seltsam Arm. Has four built-in beam guns for added firepower.

• Shield Binder

A multi-purpose defense weapon connected to the backpack via a flexible arm. It is equipped with a powerful firearm, the Folding Destlauncher, and two close combat-use Beam Sabers.

• Folding Destlauncher

A buster launcher with a foldable barrel and is capable of immense firepower. A part of the barrel can be ejected if damaged and the launcher remains usable.

• Beam Saber

A close combat weapon that emits a beam blade, a pair are stored on the inner surface of the shield binder. It is held in the left hand when in use. When the Folding Destlauncher lost a part of its barrel, the two Beam Sabers can be fired as ranged weapon alongside the still functional launcher.

• Beam Cannon

A ranged beam weapon mounted in each leg's shin armor. Thus, the shin armor has to be lifted when using this weapon.

History

The Gundam Seltsam battled the BUILD DiVERS several times, causing the group to wonder how the One-Eyes can create such a powerful unit. Later, the One-Eyes attacked a village, and the Gundam Seltsam suddenly turned against its allies to save two village children from harm. This showed that its pilot, The Masked Man, was trying to fight against the brainwashing by Alus. Eventually, the BUILD DiVERS devsied a plan to save The Masked Man, but the group was forced to adapt when they found the One-Eyes forces attempting to subdue the rogue Gundam Seltsam. As the battle progressed, the Gundam Seltsam started going out of control and changed into a monstrous form with organic, tentacle-like parts sprouting from all over its body. With support from his BUILD DiVERS teammates, Hiroto Kuga and his Saturnix Gundam managed to rip out the Seltsam Arm, freeing The Masked Man from Alus' control and defeating the Gundam Seltsam once and for all.

Notes & Trivia

• Seltsam is the german word for "Strange".
• To obtain the Gundam Seltsam at Gundam Breaker Mobile, players must build it from event blueprints during a limited time when it is available as a build project. This is very resource-intensive process, as each part requires a combination of twelve total Material which can only be obtained by rolling the current gacha capsules on specific weeks to get the number of necessary material for the part. it would take at least ninety-one rolls over four weeks to craft the parts.
  • The unit was later re-released on January 11, 2023 as part of the "The Build Project Material" exchange shop item, where the players can use up 4x5 of the materials to buy 4/7 of the parts (or 3/7 if you purchase 1-3 L-Badges for alteration).
