High Grade Ver.G30th

High Grade Ver.G30th (HG Ver.G30th) is a line of 1/144 scale Gunpla kits of the RX-78-2 Gundam from the Universal Century timeline in the Gundam meta series. The line was first introduced in 2009 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam. Modeled after the 1/1 scale Gundam statue, the kit features better detail and articulation than previous HG incarnations of the RX-78-2 Gundam at the time, despite lacking the Core Block System. Typically, each kit includes a beam rifle, an unpainted beam saber (the handles are compatible with clear beams from other High Grade kits), a shield, and a Gundam Hammer with metal chain; later variants come with additional parts.

Display base comes with 30th Anniversary logo block that appears to be melted by the Gundam's beam saber. Includes Amuro Ray figurine, clear red beam effect parts, and additional marking sheet.
