The XM-07B Vigna Ghina II is a mobile suit which appears in the original design series Gundam F91 Mobile Suit Variations. The unit is piloted by Dorel Ronah.
Technology & Combat Characteristics[]
An improvement over the XM-07 Vigna Ghina, Vigna Ghina II is obviously modeled after the F91 Gundam F91. The fin nozzles are replaced by the XM-05 Berga Giros's shelf nozzles which fashion as flexible wings, mimicking the form of F91's VSBR. Like Gundam F91, Vigna Ghina II features shoulder fins to improve its cooling system which allows the installation of a more powerful generator.
It features all weapons used by standard Vigna Ghina, but uses a beam shield with an higher power output and is also armed with a shot lancer.
Armaments[]
- Beam Saber
- The beam saber is a small device held in the mobile suit's hands when operated and is powered by a rechargeable energy capacitor. It emits high-energy Minovsky particles to form a blade-shaped I-field (via manipulation of electromagnetic fields), and then fills this I-field shell with superheated Minovsky particle plasma to produce an effective cutting blade. A pair of beam sabers are stored on the Vigna Ghina II's rear skirt armor.
- Beam Shield
- A new protective device used by the mobile suits of the U.C. 0120 era, it is mounted on the Vigna Ghina II's left forearm. Thanks to their increased generator output, the scaled-down mobile suits of this era are able to use beam technology for defensive purposes. The beam shield generates a plane of energy similar to the blade of a beam saber and can block both beam and projectile weapons. Individual sections are also automatically deactivated whenever they're in danger of coming into contact with the mobile suit itself.
- Shot Lancer
- A distinctive close combat weapon developed by the Crossbone Vanguard, the Shot Lancer is designed for combat in and around space colonies, where beam weapons would run the risk of triggering catastrophic reactor explosions in enemy mobile suits. Instead, the shot lancer uses electromagnetic acceleration to drive its tip through the enemy's armor, and the spearhead itself can also be launched like a missile. The shot lancer was first equipped on XM-01 Den'an Zon and remained a standard melee weaponry for many Crossbone Vanguard mobile suit models.
- Heavy Machine Gun
- To increase the shot lancer's combat effectiveness, the weapon mounts a pair of heavy machine guns.

History[]
Although the detail is unclear, Dorel Ronah used the Vigna Ghina II after the revival of the Crossbone Vanguard before the events of Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam.
During the Jupiter Wars of the UC 0130's, a custom version known as the Vigna Ghina II Jupiter Battle Specification type was built, featuring additional weapons and technology.

- In Gundam Breaker Mobile, Giri Gadeucca Aspis serves as the Gunpla's AI Pilot, taking place for Dorel Ronah. Ironically, this was also a nod to Giri piloting the Jupiter Battle Spec version of the unit, where the unit is remodeled from.
