The AMS-119S Geara Doga Kai is a prototype mobile suit introduced in Char's Counterattack Mobile Suit Variations.
Technology & Combat Characteristics[]
Based on the AMS-119 Geara Doga, the AMS-119S Geara Doga Kai was developed as a high-performance machine for commanders. The Geara Doga Kai used the same movable frame as the Geara Doga, but the armor material has been changed to Gundarium alloy, increasing its strength by 40%. In addition, the armor on the shins has been enlarged to reduce the degree of exposure of the internal frame. Most of the avionics are new, and its overall performance has been improved. The head has been enlarged, but this is due to the high-performance sensors installed. Thrusters have been added to the sides of the waist to improve mobility. The Geara Doga Kai has similar weapon configuration as the Geara Doga, but its shield and beam machine gun are of a different design.
Armaments[]
- Beam Sword-Axe
- A beam weapon for close combat. It has two built-in beam emitters, allowing it to generate a sword-like beam blade, a short pick-shaped blade with high penetrating power, and an axe-shaped blade with high cutting power, depending on the situation. The beam sword-axe is mounted on the rear skirt armor when not in use.
- Shield
- A foldable shield attached to the left forearm. The shape differs from that of the model used by the normal Geara Doga.
- Beam Machine Gun
- A beam machine gun with a unique shape. The shape is similar to the MSN-03 Jagd Doga's beam assault rifle.
- Grenade Launcher
- Attached to the bottom of the gun barrel.
- Shield (Jegan's)
- An alternate shield used by Lehr Doga & Sid Amber's Geara Doga Kai deployed in U.C 0120, it is the same shield as used by the RGM-89 Jegan. The shield has a pair of twin missile launchers. They fire small missiles that have composite sensors in their tips, allowing them to home in onto their target even under the interference of Minovsky particles in the battlefield. However, they have a short range and are basically for use in close combat as they only carry a small amount of propellant.
History[]
The Geara Doga Kai was developed simultaneously with the AMS-120X Geara Doga Psycommu System Test Type. Although it was a high-performance machine, mass production of this machine was postponed due to the decision to develop the NZ-333 α Azieru, which required the full power of the Neo Zeon MS development team, and it was only manufactured as a prototype. As per UC May 0096 three Geara Doga Kai was confirmed to survive the war in good condition, and those unit along with the spareparts was acquired by Buffo Junk Inc from Anaheim Electronics. With the aquisiton of the three Geara Doga Kai SNRI and Buffo cooperate to copy the Geara Doga Parts and used it as next gen Agressor Units known as Lehr Doga. One of the people involved in Lehr Doga development is Bosch Weller.[1]
In U.C 100s Earth Federation Forces Instructor Corps used the Lehr Doga as their main Agressor Units, this particular Geara Doga Kai variant was modified to using Jegan parts for ease of maintenance and compatibility. Since the Jegan type was still widely used MS used by the EFF. The Lehr Doga was also a modularized unit which the backpack, waist armor and shoulder can be swapped to suit such as AMX-011 Zaku III and AMX-014 Doven Wolf to mimic the enemies as close as possible. Because of that the Lehr Doga was popular MS used by former AEUG or Titans pilot that used to trained with Zeon based MS and some are even distributed to Colony Defense Forces as extra battle strength.[2]
There are only a few record of Lehr Doga in actual combat, one of them was in U.C 116 at the "Trimurti Incident". In this battle some of the Instructor Corps was assigned to protect the EFF "Trimurti Anti Asteroid Cannon" which was became the target of Zeon Remnants "Legacy" Cell and also EGUM Terrorist Group. During the battle one of the unit was piloted by Charles Rochester while he was still undercover in the Instructor Corps, his unit was notably distinct which was modified with Doven Wolf Backpack, AMX-107 Bawoo Shield, and hidden sub arm module similiar to PMX-003 The O used. During the battle the Lehr Doga performed well against the Zeon Remnant, but since they were outnumbered a lot of the Lehr Doga was destroyed. Luckily Charles's Doga was saved when the Fastest Formula's (FF) F90 Gundam F90 Unit 2 PV Type arrived and turned the tide along with the FF Corps.[3] [4]
Later in U.C 120 One Lehr Doga was assigned to EFF's 13th Experimental Squadron and used as Agressor Unit. Exterior changes were notable around the backpack, shoulders and legs, and the main camera was changed from the Zeonic-style mono-eye sensor to the EFF standard visor type. The unit was also equipped with the Jegan's shield. This unit was supposedly used by Bosch Weller, but since Sid Amber's F90 Gundam F90 unit 2 was captured by the Oldsmobile forces, he was assigned to it instead as escort unit for F90 unit 1. Later the Lehr Doga was participated in the siege of Mars Zeon base on Olympus Mons, along with the F90 but it was eventually heavily damaged by Bosch in his Mars Zeon F90. The unit was abandoned by Sid and destroyed with the base, although Sid was able to escape the base unharmed then rescued Navi after she was captured, eventually both of em reunited with Def Stallion after the battle ends.[5]

- AMS-119S Lehr Doga
- In U.C. 100s, SNRI and Buffo Junk Inc was able to acquire some Geara Doga Kai and copy their parts to make Agressor variant of Geara Doga. This variant of Geara Doga was modified for the need of EFF Instructor Corps. This Geara Doga variant was using 50% parts of the Jegan in order to ease the maintenance, while also compatible with EFF contemporary MS. The Lehr Doga was also able to be modified in order to mimic real enemies so the trainees able to train close to real combat as possible. One of the people piloted this was Charles Rochester which is heavily customized to fit his combat style, his unit was modified with Doven Wolf Backpack, Bawoo Shield, sub arms on the front skirt to hold extra beam sabers, and also used a beam machine gun similiar to those used by Jagd Doga.[1] [2]

- The name of Lehr Doga derived from German word of Lehrer which means Instructor.
- Initially Sid Amber's Doga was one of a kind unit and commonly known as Sid's Geara Doga, but it was retconned in Gundam F90FF Monthly MS Edition Vol 11 as Lehr Doga. Aside from Sid Amber this MS was also used by some of notable Mars Zeon Characters such as Charles Rochester and Bosch Weller.
- Even though Jegan J Type was the basic Jegan variant in UC 110s, Lehr Doga still used UC 0093 version of the Jegan backpack along with the shield and beam rifle.
