Guel is revealed to have survived the events of the Plant Quetta attack, and later captured by the Dawn of Fold as their prisoner.
The way Seethia mentions her father not coming back implies that he was killed during the Plant Quetta attack, though whether he was one of the pilots that fought outside the station or was the one that got killed by Suletta is unknown.
Dub Differences[]
As Norea stomps on Nika in the official sub, she repeatedly yells "how dare you!". In the English dub, this is replaced with a longer rant about Nika being selfish and Norea wishing Nika had died instead of Sophie.
In the English dub, Olcott does not confirm in dialog that his left arm is cybernetic, although the sound effect is still present as he squeezes Guel.
