The FF-X39A G-Parts [Hrududu II], also known as the ARZ-124 TR-6 [Hrududu II], is a support machine that appears in the novel Advance of Zeta: The Flag of Titans.
Technology & Combat Characteristics[]
The FF-X39A G-Parts [Hrududu II] is the completed version of the earlier FF-X29A G-Parts [Hrududu], a prototype support unit developed for G Parts experimentation within the TR Project. Like its predecessor, the Hrududu II serves as a reinforcement unit for Titans mobile suits—particularly those of the TR-6 series—and, by extension, Earth Federation Forces machines.[1]
In addition to its role as a reinforcement unit, the Hrududu II incorporates a hub-joint mechanism that allows it to operate super-heavy equipment, such as the Gigantic Arm Units, through a drum frame system. Its design replicates the key functions of the original Hrududu by integrating various TR Project enhancement components. At its core is a cockpit block built from the Primrose II, Boost Pod, and groin-mounted sub-arm—all of which are standard TR-6 components—along with shoulder-mounted drum frame units equipped with thrusters.[1]
The multi-connector pod, Primrose II, and sub-arm form the core nose and torso structure of the unit, centered around a drum frame. The sub-arms are capable of holding various mobile suit armaments, such as Winch Cannons and Composite Shield Boosters. These components are identical to those used in the Woundwort and serve as standard general-purpose modules within the Gundam TR-6's Universal Replacement System.[2]
Extending from the multi-connector pod is a multi-movable frame, composed of a small drum frame and bellows frame, which links to the booster units mounted on either side. Each booster unit includes a generator, thruster, and drum frame for attaching large-scale weapons. Some variants are additionally equipped with sub-arm mechanisms. The large drum frames serve several purposes: They can mount heavy weaponry such as the Bigwig Cannon and Gigantic Arm Units. Mobility and operational range can be enhanced by attaching equipment like propellant tanks, stabilator binders, Aqua Units, or Icarus Units. The drum frames also act as joint hubs, enabling docking with large mobile armors such as the Fiver II and Dandelion II.[2]
Typically deployed as a general-purpose support fighter in conjunction with the TR-6 [Woundwort], it features Winch Cannons mounted on sub-arms attached to each drum frame. Moreover, by removing specific components and installing specialized equipment, the Hrududu II can be converted into a mobile armor for various environmental conditions. In addition to the drum frame, it features three versatile sub-arms compatible with a wide array of weapons.[1] By combining the G-Parts [Hrududu II] with a mobile suit, it becomes possible to configure a near-limitless variety of loadouts. While the use of some large-scale armaments may be restricted by the base MS's capabilities, the vast majority of combinations significantly enhance the mobile suit's versatility and functionality.[1]
Armaments[]
- Claw Unit
- The claw unit is equipped with hardpoints for carrying weapons and energy packs, and the claw unit itself unfolds into an articulated claw with a Beam emitter. The Hrududu II comes equipped with two.
- Beam Emitters
- The beam emitter within the Claw Unit can function as either a beam gun or beam saber, and by combining the barrel of the long blade rifle to the beam emitter, it is able to form a beam cannon.
- Beam Reflectors
- Long Blade Rifle
- A long beam rifle with a blade, similar to Zeon Heat melee weapons, along the barrel. The Hrududu II can have two of these rifles.
- Winch Cannon
- The Winch Cannon is an enhanced version of the prototype Open Barrel Cannon mega particle weapon previously equipped on the Hazel Owsla and Primrose. Featuring an extended barrel, it delivers improved firing accuracy and increased power. Beyond standard firing, the Winch Cannon supports remote attacks via wired control through the Winch Unit, enabling all-range combat. It can also be used for stealth reconnaissance missions, thanks to its built-in mono-eye sensor camera. Additionally, the weapon is capable of disabling enemy mobile suits by channeling a high-voltage current through its wire—similar to the Hambrabi’s "Sea Serpent". For added versatility, extra armaments such as a triple grenade launcher or a hyper bazooka can be mounted on its rear section.[3][4]
- Shoulder Unit
- The Hrududu II’s Shoulder Units are an evolution of the Wing Units from the original prototype Hrududu and are also referred to as "Booster Units" or "Booster Pods." Each unit houses a powerful generator standardized across the TR-series and functions as a thermonuclear jet/rocket. A Drum Frame is mounted at the rear of each unit, allowing connection to multi-arm units and large-scale equipment—such as the arm units of the Psycho Gundam—via side mounts. In the Hrududu II’s support fighter configuration, medium-sized boosters can also be attached to these shoulder units. Some variants feature a claw arm unit at the front, which extends and retracts via a bellows-type sub-arm. Inside the claw is a built-in beam emitter, allowing it to function as a beam cannon. It can also clamp onto and fire the Long Blade Rifle from the original Hrududu.[3]
- Multi-Arm Unit
- Also known as the "Sub-Arm Unit", it holds the Winch Cannon and other weapons, and also functions as a stabilizer.[3]

Notes & Trivia[]
- "Hrududu" is a Lapine word that comes from the novel, "Watership Down". This term describes anything with an engine or motor; this comes from the sound that a motor makes.
