Template:Infobox/Mobile Weapon Ver.2 The FF-3 Saberfish is an Aerial Fighter from the MSV (Mobile Suit Variations) design series.
Technology & Combat Characteristics
The FF-3 Saberfish is an atmospheric interceptor aircraft and the base model of FF-S3 Saberfish in a joint effort by the Earth Federation Space Force (EFSF) and Eath Federation Air Force (EFAF). The rocket engines are deleted in favor of pylons for mounting missiles and drop tanks. Other features include a revised cockpit canopy and wing-fuselage blending for reduced stall occurrence.
Armaments
- 25mm Vulcan Gun
- Air-to-Air Missile
History
The FF-3 Saberfish was produced for the EFAF and were delivered to Federation air bases around the globe. After the One Year War, the EFAF also adopts the space-use FF-S3 Saberfish originally operated by the EFSF.
