F/D-20 Zowort Heavy is a mobile suit introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury.

Technology & Combat Characteristics[]

The Zowort Heavy is a combat-oriented model of the F/D-19 Zowort with significant upgrades. Its components have been treated to allow sustained use in multitudes of harsh environments in atmospheric conditions. Its stability in flight has also been improved over the basic model giving it a surplus loading capacity enabling large-scale firearms to be mounted on the back which is unrecomended for the Zowort. The left and right sides of the backpack could be outfitted with heavy weaponry depending on the pilot's requirements. ^[2]

Armaments[]

Missile Launcher: An optional piece of equipment loaded to the Zowort Heavy's back, this projectile weapon houses four AMMs (Anti-Mobile Missiles).

Beam Cannon: An optional piece of equipment that can fire high-output beam projectiles for medium and long-range combat. This and other equipment can be installed as the pilot sees fit, and a variation of the Zowort Heavy that includes additional Vectored Boosters propulsion units, affording higher mobility also exists.

Beam Vulcans

Long Beam Gun/Grenade Launcher: A portable firearm that consolidates custom modules developed for use in actual combat. The Zowort Heavy can carry four interchangable battery magazines on its skirt. The weapon also has added grenade launcher installed beneath the barrel which can be used in short-range combat.
