Extra Banchi (エキストラ・バンチ?), also known as the Dark Colony (ダーク・コロニー?) is a space colony featured in the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin manga and its OVA adaptation. Originally, used by the Autonomous Republic of Zeon to develop the mobile worker (then a new next-generation weapon) amidst absolute secrecy, it later became Zeon's development base for secret weapons aimed at a war of independence.
