The Euba Alliance is a faction that appears in the TV anime Mobile Suit Gundam AGE.
History[]
A former national faction made up of descendants of the "Euba Alliance", one of the two major colony powers that fought for dominance over the Earth Sphere in the Colony Nation War that took place before the Advanced Generation.
They waged war with the Zalam Union for 50 years, but the war ended with neither side winning.
In A.G. 115, they openly possessed battleships and combat MS in the colony "Fardain" (apparently due to the UE attack causing the Silver Chalice Treaty to lapse), and fought against Zalam, ignoring the peace of the citizens, but joined forces with Zalam during the UE invasion, and cooperated with Grodek Ainoa in his own attack on the UE's secret base Ambat.
According to the novelization, the Euba Alliance was advocating a large government-controlled society. Some factions are said to be cooperative with the Earth Federation, but later, when the Federation began to adopt an Earth-centered policy, they began to secretly cooperate with anti-Federation organizations such as Bisidian, and some of them joined Vagan.
