The Engage Hamma (エンゲージハンマ Engēji Hanma?) is a mobile suit first introduced in the smartphone game Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. ENGAGE.

Technology & Combat Characteristics[]

A "what if" retrofit plan, that uses Neo Zeon technology, for the Engage Gundam, had it been constructed and operated. It has a design that considerably incorporates the technology and design of Neo Zeon of the time. The head has additional external armor, and the twin eye camera has been changed to a unique mono-eye camera. It has been so refurbished that it cannot be distinguished as the base Engage Gundam at first glance. The core block system was omitted, and additional armaments and exterior coverings were added to each part. The preceding Engage Gundam, which was designed for enhanced mobility, was redesigned based on the spare parts from the Hamma Hamma, developed by Neo Zeon, and aimed for miniaturization. The Engage Hamma has enhanced mobility and firepower that is incomparable to the base form due to reinforcement with additional fixed equipment.

Armaments[]

  • 60mm Vulcan Gun
  • Wired Triple Beam Gun
  • Shield
  • Beam Rifle

Special Equipment & Features[]

The Quasi-Psycommu was a computer control system designed to allow non-Newtype pilots to operate wire-guided remote weapons and conduct all-range attacks in a fashion similar to Newtype-use mobile weapons equipped with a standard Psycommu system. Rather than sending and receiving data via thought waves as in a true Psycommu system, the Quasi-Psycommu system continually samples the pilot's electrical brainwaves, allowing the pilot to communicate specific instructions almost instantaneously. This system permits the use of simple remote weapons like INCOMs, but even with computer support, these devices are only capable of two-dimensional movement.

History[]

As the RX-78GP00 Gundam "Blossom" was selected as the winner of the trials for Gundam Development Project, the RX-78GPZ01 Engage Gundam was never constructed and it, and its variants like the Engage Hamma, only existed on paper.
