Eiphar Synapse (エイパー・シナプス?) is a character that appears in Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory OVA series.
Personality
The captain of the assault carrier Albion is a grizzled veteran, with a commanding personality and a keen tactical mind. Originally dispatched to collect the prototype Gundams from the Federation's Torrington base, Synapse soon finds himself charged with pursuing the stolen Gundam GP02A. Well aware that he can expect little guidance or support from the Federation's upper ranks, Synapse is often forced to rely on both his own judgement and his own sense of right and wrong.

Notes & Trivia
- The Super Robot Wars series, whenever Synapse appears, it will generally do the following. His canonical death will be averted, and the acquisition of the GP-03 will take place by means that do not involve him either dying or running afoul of EFSF regulations. He may, when not a playable character, serve as commander of the Torrington Base.
