Technology & Combat Characteristics
As implied by its name, in which ESM stands for Electronic Support Measures, the ESM Jegan was meant for searching enemy units using electronic means, but its design actually placed more focus on optical observations. Stereo cameras mounted on its shoulders were meant for use during dispersion of minovsky particles. Its backpack had two cylindrical pods equipped with various electronic sensors, and could be deployed remotely using wires. The ESM Jegan could also use a large, super-optical zoom lens during operation. Additionally, its arms were changed to a type with reduced vibrations, and its head design differ from the normal Jegan. Outside of combat, the machine was used for detecting and observing debris.
