The EA Rifle is a weapon introduced in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED.

Technological Overview

The EA rifle appears to be of a bullpup configuration with a free floating barrel.

History

In both Alliance-PLANT Wars, the Earth Alliance would use this as its standard issue rifle. After the two main warring factions shift towards their respective extreme ends, some EA Rifles would be carried over by defecting Archangel crew from the Earth Alliance to the Three Ships Alliance.

During the Attack on Toroya Station in the second war, an assault team sent by the Nana Buluku's fleet from Phantom Pain rain fire onto the DSSD defenders upon boarding the station.

Outside of the Earth Alliance, some civilians would also manage to acquire the said rifles for themselves, such as when they attacked the Logos members and their homes after Gilbert Durandal revealed the existence of Logos to the world. Similarly, Blue Cosmos members not in the Earth Alliance would brandish EA rifles when they tried to attack a disguised Andrew Waltfeld.
