The Earth Federation Forces' Arctic Base (北極基地?) is a location featured in Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket [1].

History[]
In December of U.C. 0079, the prototype RX-78NT-1 Gundam NT-1 was secretly transported to the E.F.F. Arctic Base for transport into space. However, information of the Gundam leaked to the Principality of Zeon, who deployed the Cyclops Team to carryout an attack on the base. The four units swiftly decimated the Arctic Base's defenses, destroying several RGM-79D GM Cold Districts Type mobile suits. However, the team ultimately failed in their mission, as the Gundam NT-1 was successfully launched into space inside a shuttle.[1]
