History
The Early Warning and Control ( short EWAC ) aircraft that Earth Federation Forces was using for reconnaissance and patrol . During the One Year War, they are mainly used in the airspace near bases and serve mostly for long-distance target detection. The design of the airplane, which resembles a round turtle, has been designed to enable efficient sensor and radar detection. The engines have been integrated into the hull bottom. The EWAC aircraft themselves are armed only with a Machinegun to defend and therefore dependent on the protection afforded by fighters. After the end of the One Year War all Dish modernized units are transferred to the post-war armed forces. They are even deployed in U.C. 0096 , 16 years after the war, still in service.
