Derrens (デレンズ Derenzu?) is a character from Mobile Suit Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance.[2]
Background[]
Derrens was an infantry who belongs to the 1st Armored Infantry Company under Zeon's Earth Attack Force during the One Year War. He reported directly to 2nd Lt. Hailey Arhun.[2]
Skills & Abilities[]
Derrens's shooting skill is poor, as evidenced when he fires the armored vehicle's machine cannon at the E.F.F. roadblock's M61A5 MBT, all the shots hit the ground and none at the intended target.[2]

European Front[]
Derrens' unit, the 1st Armored Infantry Company, partnered with the Stein Battalion which was in-charge of the re-capture operation of EFF's military headquarter in Cluj-Napoca, Romania in Eastern Europe on November 6, U.C. 0079. Derrens's unit were ambushed by the EFF raid in the early morning on November 7, resulting in his commanding officer critically injured, and leaving 2nd Lt. Arhun the most senior soldier within the unit. With the helps from Iria Solari of the Red Wolf Squadron, Derrens and his Company was able to evacuate in early morning and saved from total annihilation at the hands of the intruding E.F.F. and RX-78(G)E Gundam EX.[2]
With Derrens's Armored Vehicle serves as the vanguard, the escaping convoy left Cluj-Napoca and was on the way to the Romanian Mixed Mobile Brigade Headquarter where the Red Wolves was based. His vehicle suddenly stopped while the convoy was driving through a small town. When asked by Arhun, Derrens replied there was an E.F.F. road block 500 meters ahead. After Arhun authorized engagement, Derrens fired the 37mm machine cannon at the road block's M61A5 MBT while his Armored Vehicle charged forwards. His shots missed the target and the E.F.F. tank shot back with 155mm dual cannon. Derrens' vehicle was hit and tipped over, killed him instantly.
