The Death Guns is a mercenary unit that appears in Mobile Suit Gundam Silhouette Formula 91 in U.C. 0123 and Mobile Suit Gundam F90 Cluster.
Background[]
In U.C. 0121, the Death Guns, also known as the Three Death Musketeers, were a squad of mercenaries from Jupiter who took part in the First Oldsmobile War under the private military company "Dunsinane." They piloted F80 Gunraid mobile suits, with their own special variants believed to be prototype test models developed by SNRI’s Jupiter branch. These units were further distinguished by their stealth ponchos, woven from beam-resistant coated fiber.[1]
In U.C. 0123, the Death Guns was an elite unit within the Crossbone Vanguard, notorious for their cruelty and sadistic behavior. They treated the killing of Earth Federation Forces prisoners like a game, placing wagers on which body part to shoot, and have even been known to turn their weapons on their own comrades. Feared and despised even among their fellow soldiers, they earned a reputation as grim reapers. Their signature technique is the devastating "Triple Shoot," though in the series it ultimately became the "Double Guns Shoot" after Dodonga was killed by Lyle Wolf before the battle with the F90III-Y Cluster Gundam.[2]
