Danan Raschica (ダナン・ラシカ Danan Rashika?) is a character that appears in the movie Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan's Island.

Danan is a Mobile Suit pilot who volunteered to join the Southern Cross Corps. He is belligerent and interested in Doan, the former captain.

A wild and unpredictable member of the Zeon's Southern Cross Corps, Danan was likely added into the team following the desertion of its previous leader, Cucuruz Doan. Despite this, Danan was aware of both rumors and his current teammates' regard for Doan in spite of his actions and dreamed of being able to fight him. These constant comments regarding Doan, however, would draw him the ire of the team's captain, Egba Alter.
At Casablanca, Danan and the rest of the team are sent to the front, where they single-handedly hold the line against the Federation forces. Following their success, they are receive instruction from General M'Quve at Morocco, who sends them to Alegranza due its operator in charge of the nuclear missile base no longer responding. Danan initially feels the mission is beneath them but is quick to change his tune when Wald Ren suggests the culprit could be Doan.
Once the team deploys, Egba, Danan, and Selma Livens would accidentally encounter Hayato Kobayahi and Kai Shiden's RX-77-2 Guncannons and would quickly engage them and overpower them. When Egba is about to finish Kai's Guncannon, Doan's Zaku II finally joins the fray and stops Egba. At the peak of excitement, Danan would quickly attack Doan to see his fabled skill first-hand.
In spite of Doan only being equipped with a Heat Hawk and a slower Zaku II compared to Danan's High Mobility Type, Doan is able to avoid Danan's machinegun and matches him with the Heat Hawk. Eventually, Doan finally cuts Danan down, who is still stuck in euphoria at being able to taste his opponent's skills.
