The Chinagguy is a Gunpla introduced in the anime Gundam Build Fighters. Its appearance is based on China Kousaka, and her Gunpla, the KUMA-03 Beargguy III.

Technology & Combat Characteristics

The Chinagguy is particularly eye-catching among the Gunplas displayed in a certain clubroom of the private school Seiho Academy — it is a mash-up model containing the motifs of China Kousaka, the female Gunpla builder attending the academy's junior high school, and the Beargguy III(San), which is China's original Gunpla. The culture of Gunpla is now deep enough to develop a new genre of girl Gunpla in the costume of Mobile Suits, which is truly regarded as a dream world — that is, the Gunpla☆World.

Its concept is of a girl in a costume that is enhanced with gimmicks built into the head and forearms. The costume can be removed to reveal the girl, however the Gunpla would no longer have any elements of a Mobile Suit. Mobile Suits are built not only for combat, but also for providing relief to people, such as the ZAKU Warrior (Live Concert Ver.) that appeared in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. Chinagguy also seems to be a Gunpla made for such a purpose but, surprisingly, such a unit may show unexpected performance in battle.

Special Equipment & Features

• China Eyewear

The red eyeglass frames, color-coordinated with the red ribbons, add to the overall cuteness.

• Beargguy Hand

Distinctly frilled forearms with paw pads. It's a cute design, but those familiar with Gundam would probably feel there is great danger in the paw pads and the holes in the center.

• China/Beargguy Headband

There are two types of headbands that can be attached to the Gunpla's head: the China type and the Beargguy type with the ears of a bear. From a Gundam perspective, the bear ears would seem to offer stronger communication capabilities, but cuteness may actually just be their priority.

History

At the end of Gundam Build Fighters: GM's Counterattack, the Chinagguy is shown in a clubroom in the Seiho Academy alongside other Gunplas and the trophy Sei and Reiji won.
