The Assault Unit Commander (襲撃部隊指揮官?) of Cathedra is a minor character from Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury PROLOGUE [1].

Cathedra troops disembarked from the Begavent and killed two employees [1].
In her office, Dr. Cardo Nabo reached for a firearm in her desk drawers when the Assault Unit Commander entered to execute her. Surrounded by images of what the GUND Format had done for medicine, she declared GUND a necessity for humanity to go out into space. The Assault Unit Commander considered her words an excuse for a technology that required sacrificial victims. In response, she claimed he didn't understand, and retorted that what all of them were taking away was the future that the GUND would save, whilst pointing her pistol at him [1].
Cathedra later sent out message that the enemy had successfully neutralized the lives of Cardo Nabo and all key members, and that they were to retreat as soon as preparations to blow up the front were complete. This message was picked up by the XGF-02 Gundam Lfrith [1].
