The Cargo Ship is a space transport vessel first introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team.

History[]
One Cargo Ship was used to deliver Shiro Amada and several other Earth Federation Forces soldiers to Earth in October, U.C. 0079. Near the end of its journey, the ship came a cross a battle between a RGM-79［E］ GM Early Type and a MS-06RD-4 Zaku High Mobility Test Type. When the GM began to lose , Shiro piloted a RB-79K Ball Type K that the transport was carrying into battle to assist the GM pilot.[1]
In December, 0079,[2] the Guinea Pig Team, led by Yuu Kajima, launched into space in a Cargo Ship to track down Nimbus Schterzen, eventually reaching an abandoned colony. While Yuu entered the colony using the colony in the RX-79BD-3 Blue Destiny Unit 3, his two team mates, Philip Hughes and Summona Fulis, stayed and defended the ship in RB-79 Ball.
