The CEK-043LBK Beguir-Beu Torche (CEK-043LBK べギルベウ・トルシュ（ケナンジ小隊所属機）, Begiru Beu Torushu (Kenanji Shōtai Shozoku-ki)^?) CEK-043LBK Beguir-Beu Torche is a variant of the CEK-040 Beguir-Beu introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury - Vanadis Heart. Known pilots are Kenanji Avery and Ridrick Kruger.

Technology & Combat Characteristics[]

A mobile suit developed by Grassley Defense System based on Beguir Beu that is specialized for land combat use on Earth.^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4] Externally it looks similar like its predecessor, but it was equipped with different shoulders, backpack, and greave unit that function as high mobility hover equipment for 1G environment.^[4] The greaves can also be used as giant claw to crush enemy mobile suit^[5] It was equipped with a pair of anti GUND-ARM weaponry, the Non Kinetic Pod.^[1] To distinguish who pilots the unit, its model number was change depends to the pilot first name, and it also equipped with different head design depending on the pilot, such as rabbit and unicorn type head for Kenanji Avery, and Ridrick Kruger unit respectively.^[2]^[3]

Armaments[]

Beam Saber: These are close-combat equipment that generate beam blades. They are mounted onto the large hover units attached to the left and right sides of the back.^[4]

Beam Rifle: This is a portable firearm capable of dispensing stable and high firepower which uses new battery cartridges developed by Grassley Defense Systems. Outside of its barrel, which had dustproof and waterproof modifications for ground combat, it was also used by successive Hein-series mobile suits while receiving improvements.^[4]

Non-Kinetic Pod: These devices release "Antidote" across a wide area and cut off GUND Format links. While the Beguir-Beu launched its wire-guided pods, this model was designed for operations on Earth and had pods attached to its back, and their effective range was secured by firing Antidote Spikes from the launchers on the arms.^[4]

Shield: A basic arm-mounted defense armament for many AD Stella mobile suits. The shield is a thick sheet of armor designed to take severe punishment that would normally destroy a mobile suit, and is also treated with an anti-beam coating to withstand several beam shots before the coating wears off. Typically, physical shields can only take so much damage before they succumb to the pressure and break.

Greave: A pair of greave unit is attached on Beguir-Beu Torche's shin, they function as a high mobility hover equipment for 1G environment.^[4] It can be used as giant claws to crush enemy mobile suit.^[5]

History[]

In A.S 106, a Beguir Beguir Torche piloted by Ridrick Krueger was deployed by Dominicus on Earth to hunt down several XGF-01 Gundam Lfrith Pre-Production Model.^[5] Another Beguir Beu Torche piloted by Kenanji Avery deployed to quell a fight between mercenary and terrorist forces, and his unit manages to swiftly destroy the enemy MS.^[6]
