"Transport" is not in the list (Assault, Heavy Assault, Defense, Multi-Mode, Close Quarters Combat, High Mobility, Artillery, Sniper, Reconnaissance, Support, ...) of allowed values for the "Usage" property. The CB-X5SGT Gunperry Sturm Type is an aerial V-TOL transport vehicle and variant of the Gunperry. It first appeared in MSV-R line.
Technology & Combat Characteristics
The CB-X5SGT Gunperry Sturm Type is conceived by the Federation as a service craft. The Gunperry Sturm Type has the capability to ferry mobile suits, MS components and large high-yield warheads. It has a much larger container than a regular Gunperry and has a navy blue color scheme to camouflage itself during transport of RGM-79V GM Night Seeker and RGM-79LV GM Night Seeker II for night attacks on Zeon military facilities. It is also equipped with laser communications in near of the transport vehicle to respond E.F.F. mobile suits on the ground floor.
History
In U.C 0079, the CB-X5SGT Gunperry Sturm Type are assign to the 033th Company to transport GM Night Seeker units to to recapture Zeon military facilities. The 033th Company consist of at least five GM Night Seeker units that are transported by Assault Type Gunperry which are escorted by FF-6 TIN Cod units.
In U.C 0090, several Gunperry Sturm Type units are used by the Earth Federation Forces Task Force - "Knight Jaeger." One in particular Gunperry Sturm Type is carrying Yazan Gable in his RGM-86R GM III equipped with Night Seeker armor and weaponry.
