Build Busters is the Gunpla Battle team formed by the members of the Tendaiji Academy Gunpla Club of Osaka Prefecture.
History[]
Seeking retribution over his rival Yuuma Kousaka, famed Gunpla builder Minato Sakai begged the Tendaiji Academy Gunpla Club to let him join their team, despite having rejected their invitations in the past. Club leader Hideo Isaka allowed him in after Masaki Kodera offered to step down as the third member of the team. Using the 最強機動 Gundam Tryon 3, the Build Busters took home the Osaka Prefecture Championship and advanced to the National Tournament. The team advanced to the semi-finals, where they battled the Try Fighters. Despite destroying the TBG-011B Try Burning Gundam and SD-237S Star Winning Gundam, the Gundam Tryon 3 was defeated by the LGZ-91Fb Lightning Gundam Full Burnern.
