The Bromb Texter Improved Type is an Man Hunting Attachment-operated Man-Machine that is featured in the novel Gaia Gear. It is an enhanced version of the Bromb Texter Production Type.
History
A complete rework of the Type Zero, the Improved Type looks little like it's predecessor. Now a true Newtype unit, the BTIT equips funnels, and possibly a psycommu system, as well as improves upon the errors in the Type Zero's design. BTIT features improved speed, maneuverability, and ease of control over the Type Zero, but is still no match for high-end NT units. Though a beam saber is removed, this design incorporates a "Crosswise Set" megaparticle beam gun.
