Bright Noa (ブライト・ノア Buraito Noa?) is a character appearing in the manga Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin, its OVA adaptation and television recut and the movie Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan's Island.
Personality & Character[]
Bright is easily irritable and often butted heads with the civilians aboard the White Base, some who had to be molded into soldiers out of necessity. Bright initially struggles with being a leader when confronted with insubordination and leans heavily on trusted members of his bridge crew in this time. Many traumatic experiences would refine Bright's better qualities, and he would grow into a leader.
History[]
At the start of the One Year War, Bright was twenty five years old and held the the rank Lt. Junior Grade.
Bright was selected to be the second-in-command of the White Base, serving under the command of veteran Captain Paolo Cassius. After the passing of Captain Cassius at Luna II, due to injuries sustained in the Zeon attack on Side 7, Bright became the acting-captain of the White Base. Upon reaching Jaburo, Bright is promoted and formally made the ship's captain. Bright would command the White Base until the end of the war, when the ship led the landing operations at A Baoa Qu.
