Bork Cry (ボルク・クライ大尉 Boruku Kurai?) is a leading character from the Mobile Suit Gundam: Cross Dimension 0079 (1995) video game. He pilots the RX-78XX Gundam Pixie.

Background

Bork Cry was originally a Earth Federation fighter pilot, but was relegated to transport duty due to his defiant attitude towards his superiors. He was then assigned to the Albatross transportation team and stationed at the Albatross base in the Gobi desert. A raid on the base by Zeon's Wolf Gar Team forces Bork to commandeer the prototype Gundam Pixie to fend off the attackers.

In the end the leader of Wolf Gar, Henry Boone, attempts a desperate strike on the Albatross base in his Efreet as the base commander Noct Gaddish and staff are preparing to evacuate. Noct escapes on a Medea and Gundam Pixie pilot Bork Cry is left abandoned, both of his wingmen killed, he has a tense face off with Henry Boone. If the player loses, they get a brief cutscene explaining that Boone went on to aid in the defense of Solomon and then disappear. If the player wins they get a cutscene wherein Bork Cry finds Saki Graham, a Zaku pilot under Boone's command who escaped her MS before it exploded. He helps her up and together the two limp through the desert back to the now deserted Albatross Base.

Trivia

  • It is possible that Bork's name maybe derived from Волк, which is Russian for "wolf".
