Beyond The Knuckle is the 13th episode of Gundam Build Fighters Try.
Synopsis[]
Having recovered from his battle with Adou, Sekai heads for the Labs' workshop to repair the Build Burning Gundam, and encounters a mysterious girl. Thanks to the girl's advice, Sekai finishes repairing the Build Burning, and the next day he goes to the Labs' battle room with Mr. Ral for special training. There he meets Kei Karima from Honmoku Academy, representing Kanagawa, who suggests they play a practice match. His goal is to learn the strength of the Gunpla Academy, and when Sekai realizes this, he cannot hide his anger. At this point Wilfrid Kijima, the ace of the Gunpla Academy, intervenes, as does the Gabai Institute team that represents Kagoshima. It seems the situation will get out of hand, until Meijin Kawaguchi suddenly appears on top of the battle system. Thus begins a Battle Royal among representatives of each school, under the Meijin's supervision.[1]

Trivia[]
- This episode marks the first appearance of a mobile suit from the second season of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 in battle in Gundam Build Fighters Try.
- The title "Beyond The Knuckle" is a play on the name of theme song of Mobile Suit Gundam:Char's Counterattack :Beyond The Time.
- The red moon appeared along with Transient Gundam is a reference to Lunatic, an infamous villain from Sunrise's superhero anime, Tiger and Bunny. A red moon oftens appeared with him.
- When the Build Burning Gundam unleashes Seiso Geri and the Transient Gundam responds, it resemble Shin's Nanto Gokuto Ken and Kenshiro's Hokuto Hiei Ken techniques from Fist of the North Star.
- Moments later, the Build Burning Gundam uses rapid punches similar to Hokuto Hyakurestsu Ken while the Transient Gundam responds with rapid kicks similar to Senren Kyaku.
