Apolly Bay (アポリー・ベイ Aporī Bei^?) is a fictional character from the anime series Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Deleted Affair: Portrait Of Young Comet and Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam Define manga.

History

Char's Deleted Affair: Portrait Of Young Comet

Initially serving along with his comrade Roberto as one of Char Aznable's wingmen during the One Year War, he escaped to Axis after the end of the war. He left Axis with Char and joined the AEUG, adopting the pseudonym "Apolly Bay".

Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam

Apolly later goes on to become the chief of the AEUG flagship Argama's Rick Dias team. Like Char, Apolly is a veteran soldier who can handle almost any combat situation. This solid team player provides the heroes with not only valuable support in battle, but also a much-needed dose of sardonic wit.

He delivers the newly completed Zeta Gundam to Kamille Bidan. He is eventually killed by Jerid Messa during the Battle of Gryps.^[1]
