Alpha A. Bait (アルファ・A・ベイト?) is a character that appears in the OVA Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory.
History[]
Alpha is a veteran of the One Year War, serving alongside South Burning, Bernard Monsha, and Chap Adel, collectively known as the Immortal 4th Team. After the end of the War, Burning was transferred to the Torrington Base while Bait, Monsha, and Adel stayed together. After the theft of the RX-78GP02A Gundam "Physalis", Bait, along with Adel and Monsha, were transferred from their previous posting to the Albion to assist in the recovery of Unit 02. There, Bait reunited with his old teammate Burning. After Burning's death, he becomes a wartime captain and is appointed as the commander of Albion's MS squadron, and is able to organize the squad and survive the Delaz Conflict. Afterwards, the Federation Council establishes an elite counter-insurgency unit known as the Titans. Bait, along with most of the crew of the Albion, are among its first members.
