The AMX-020 Gaza-G (ガザG, Gaza G^?) is a transformable mobile suit appearing in Mobile Suit Moon Gundam.

Technology & Combat Characteristics

A unit that continues the lineage of the variable Gaza series, which was developed from the Mobile Workers on the asteroid Axis. It is a multipurpose variable MS. In MS form, it can be operated as a medium-range support machine and in MA form it can also be used as a SFS or bomber. Because it utilized the Gaza series production line, its maintenance was very simple, and it was easy to increase production numbers as needed. They were one of the main forces deployed when the Neo Zeon Luce Fleet invaded Moon Moon.

Armaments

• Double Head Vulcan

Four vulcans located at the top of the head. They are intended for use in Mobile Armor mode, so are pointed upwards, limiting their usefulness in Mobile Suit mode.

• 2 x 9-tube Missile Pod

A missile pod built into the shoulder shields which each contain nine missiles.

• 2 x Beam Saber

A small device for close combat, powered by a rechargeable energy capacitor and held in the mobile suit's hands when operated. It emits a blade of plasma contained by an I-field and is capable of cutting through armor without anti-beam coating. When not in use, the beam sabers are stored in the Gaza-G's shoulder shields.

• Knuckle Buster

A high output beam gun equipped with a large sensor unit mounted in the right side of the chest and powered directly by the Gaza-G's generator. The knuckle buster is usable in both mobile armor mode and mobile suit mode, and is supported by the Gaza-G's right hand when it is being fired in mobile suit mode.

Notes & Trivia

• The Gaza-G's model number was first given as "AMX-010," but would be changed to "AMX-020" in later releases.
• "Gaza-G" was also the name given to an early mobile suit concept, which appeared in Gundam Wars III: Gundam Sentinel, which would become the basis for the AMX-007 Gaza-E.
