The AMX-016 Gaza-W is a mobile suit from the Under the Gundam: Double-Fake manga series.

Technology & Combat Characteristics

The AMX-016 Gaza-W is the final development the "Gaza" series of variable MS built by the first Neo Zeon movement. It is fitted with large shield binders that house nuclear thermal jet/rocket engines, allowing the Gaza-W atmospheric flight. It is armed with multiple weapons and is classified as a heavy MS, making it a departure from machines of the Gaza lineage.

• Shield Binder

The Gaza-Z carries two shield binders on its arms, and thanks to the nuclear thermal jet/roket engines housed inside that the MS can make atmospheric flight. The concept behind this device is not new, as demonstrated by various MS with shield boosters such as the RX-121 Gundam TR-1 ［Hazel］

• Beam Rifle

The only offensive weapon on the Gaza-W is a beam rifle. The particle beam fired from a beam rifle can penetrate almost any armor that has not been treated with specific counter-measures.

History

It saw combat in Side 6 against Earth Federation Forces, where it was piloted by D-Madd, a member of the "Colorde" extremist organization.
