The AMX-011G Zaku III is a Mobile Suit that appears in the manga Advance of Zeta Re-Boot: Gundam Inle. It is a variant of the AMX-011 Zaku III.

Technology & Combat Characteristics[]

The ground variant of the Zaku III-R. Like the AMX-009G Dom III (which was based off the AMX-009 Dreissen), it has all the space equipment removed and replaced with parts suited for ground based operations on Earth. Some of its weapons such as the beam cannon/beam saber combo on the front skirt has been omitted and is instead, equipped with skirt extension booster. The booster can ejected during close combat, however due to its high cost, it will be recovered after the battle for future use. It's overall appearances resembles that of the classic MS-06 Zaku II due to Mars Zeon priding itself on its legitimate Zeon heritage. Units belonging to the Chester Fleet were given a desert color scheme to allow better camouflage on the desert environment as well as making it easier to conduct guerilla operations.

Armaments[]

  • 30mm Vulcan Gun
A pair of shell-firing armament built into the head. Low offensive power, only used to restrict enemy movement, and lay down a wall of suppressive fire due to their rapid fire capability.
  • Mega Gatling Gun
A beam gun with four revolving barrels and can rapid fire beam shots for a longer period of time. It is the same 4-barrel beam gatling gun used by Quess Paraya's MSN-03 Jagd Doga.
  • Beam Saber
Carrying a total of four beam sabers, a pair of beam sabers are mounted on the front skirt armor for close combat. However the beam cannon function is omitted. A pair can also be carried in the shoulder shield.
  • Shoulder Shield
Equipped with a shoulder shield on the right shoulder for defense use, similar to the model used on the stander Zaku III, a storage rack carrying spare beam sabers and grenades.
  • Cracker Grenade
Identical to those used by infantry, cracker grenades are explosive weapons designed to be thrown or launched by the MS and detonate after a set amount of time. The "cracker" then breaks into several smaller munitions over a wide area.
