The AMS-129 Geara Zulu (Ellic Custom) is a custom variant of the AMS-129 Geara Zulu (Guards Type) from Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative. It is piloted by Ellic Hugo.

Technology & Combat Characteristics

A modified version of the Geara Zulu (Guards Type) and its head is changed to one with a blade antenna, signifying its commander status. Some of its armor shape and design have been altered and the backpack is replaced with one from the AMS-119 Geara Doga Heavy Armed Type, but the backpack's propellant tanks, stabilizer, and Lange Bruno Gun are omitted. Instead, it is possible to store the Beam Machine Gun Compact and Beam Naginata in the surplus space. The machine is also painted in Ellic's personal colors. Although it belongs to the Republic of Zeon, it is engraved with the marks of the Sleeves for disguise. The marking on the chest is a unique design of this machine.

Armaments

• Beam Machine Gun Compact

A shorter version of the Beam Machine Gun used by the standard units. It is stored on the right side of the backpack when not in use.

• Beam Naginata

A handheld close combat weapon that can emit beam blades from both ends. It can also generate only a beam blade on one end. The shape is similar to that of Gelgoog's armament, but the beam blade has a higher output. It is stored on the left side of the backpack when not in use.

• Beam Machine Gun

The standard firearm of the Geara Zulu, it rapid fires pellet-shaped beams and its firing and focusing rates are consistent with the standards at the time. By adjusting the irradiation time, the weapon can also function as a beam rifle. The magazine (E-pac) doubles as a foregrip, and has a banana shape, increasing the number of ammunition. It has an excellent basic design and high expandability.

• Giant Bazooka

The same firearm as used by the Sleeves's AMX-009 Dreissen. It is created based on the MSN-06S Sinanju's Rocket Bazooka, and is used for both anti-MS and anti-ship combat. It is fed by a magazine that carries 5 rounds.

Trivia

• While the Standard Geara Zulu's beam machine gun resembles the WWII era StG 44 assault rifle, the compact beam machine gun resembles the TEC-9 pistol.
