The AGE-1SW Gundam AGE-1 Swordia is a variant of the AGE-1 Gundam AGE-1 Normal featured in the Mobile Suit Gundam AGE Cosmic Drive/Universe Accel video game and the OAV Mobile Suit Gundam AGE: Memory of Eden. The unit was piloted by Asemu Asuno.
Technology & Combat Characteristics
Gundam AGE-1 Swordia is a close-combat variant of the AGE-1 Normal with the appearance reminiscent to that of a medieval knight[1]. The wear pack itself is specially tuned up to be used under the earth's gravity, with the armor made stronger to balance itself while holding its huge weaponry. It is equipped with a newly built double-edged Liberta Sword and a huge heavy shield.
Armaments
- Liberta Sword
- An double-edged sword which serves as Gundam AGE-1 Swordia's primary armament for close-combat. It is developed from the Shiguru Blade technology and has twice the cutting power of the former.
- Shield
- A physical shield which serves as Gundam AGE-1 Swordia's primary defensive armament. The shield's size is considered twice as big as normal shields.
- Beam Saber/Dagger
- The AGE-1's close combat armament. The Beam Saber can adjust its length for different combat situations and is also strong enough to pierce and destroy the Vagan's mass-production mobile suits such as Gafran, Baqto and Dorado.
History
The Swordia was first deployed in A.G 141, when Asemu Asuno used the Mobile Suit to protect Tordia. During the battle, he saved Romary from a ovm-e Dorado, but was later defeated by Zeheart Galette in his xvv-xcr Zedas R.
