AEU-09RG AEU Enact Suille Palace Guard Type (aka Enact Suille Palace Guard Type) is a customized AEU-09 AEU Enact appearing in season 2 of Mobile Suit Gundam 00.
Technology & Combat Characteristics[]
The AEU exported the AEU-09 AEU Enact (aka Enact) to various locations and can customize the mobile suit to fit the buyer's needs.[1][2][3] An example of this is the Enact Suille Palace Guard Type, a unique variant of the Enact built according to the specifications given by the Kingdom of Suille, a major country in the Middle East.[3][4][5][6] Besides this machine, Suille also acquired the standard Enact in the country's customized colors for its military.[3]
Used by the guards protecting the country's royal palace, the Enact Suille Palace Guard Type has a nobler appearance than the standard Enact due to its distinct head antenna and the white and gold color scheme.[3][5][6][7] Mechanism for transforming into Flight mode is removed as operation in that mode is not expected.[3][5] The Enact Suille Palace Guard Type's only known armament include a blade rifle and a defense rod.
Armaments[]
- Blade Rifle
- The main weapon of the Enact Suille Palace Guard Type, it appears to be the same firearm as used by the AEU-09Y812 al-Saachez's AEU Enact Custom. It is a linear rifle with a large carbon blade that slides out of the barrel when needed. The blade rifle can be swung like a sword by using one of the two side grips at the rifle’s rear section. Its barrel can also adopt a scissor-like form by opening to the left and right.
- Defense Rod
- Mounted on the forearm, the defense rod is a defensive device that uses rotary motions to deflect/ricochet incoming enemy projectiles, and can generate a plasma field upon contact with the projectile to reduce the impact, etc. The defense rod may break if hit by an attack on its front side.
History[]
Between AD 2307 and 2312, the Middle Eastern Kingdom of Suille ordered the AEU-09RG AEU Enact Suille Palace Guard Type, a customized version of the AEU-09 AEU Enact, from the AEU for guarding its royal palace. In AD 2312, the Enact Suille Palace Guard Types and the royal palace were all destroyed by the Memento Mori.
