AEU-09/LS Klaus's AEU Enact Landstriker Package

Template:Infobox/Mobile Weapon Ver.2 AEU-09/LS Klaus' AEU Enact Landstriker Package (aka Klaus's Enact Landstriker Package, Enact Landstriker Package) is a customized AEU-09 AEU Enact equipped with the "Sand Chariot" hovercraft. Piloted by Klaus Grad, it appeared in Mobile Suit Gundam 00V.

Technology & Combat Characteristics

Klaus's Enact Landstriker Package is a combination of Klaus' customized Enact with the support-use buddy craft known as "Sand Chariot" hovercraft, which grants the ability to hover speedily across the desert. The hovercraft used by Klaus' machine is made specifically to fit the Enact and is more powerful than the previous AEU Hellion compatible version. When Klaus joined Katharon, his Enact Landstriker Package is fitted with a laser cannon so as to battle more effectively against GN Drive Tau-powered mobile suits.

Armaments

• 20mm Machine Gun

Mounted on the left side of the pelvis' circular parts, this small-caliber projectile weapon lacks firepower, but can be rapid-fired and has high utility value. It is used for intercepting missiles, anti-vehicles, anti-personal and other cases where heavy firepower is unnecessary. In mobile suit combat, it is mostly for restricting enemy movements.

• Linear Machine Gun

A handheld weapon that fires electromagnetically-accelerated rounds at a high rate. While ineffective against the armor of GN Drive Tau-powered mobile suits, it is still useful against older generation of mobile suits, which are still the majority. The linear machine gun is also suitable for handling a variety of missions.

• Sonic Blade (Plasma Sword)

The main melee weapon of Klaus' AEU Enact Landstriker Package, it has a short blade made of super-hard carbon that slides out of the handle during use. The blade can vibrate at a high frequency and has high cutting capabilities. Additionally, by focusing plasma into an elongated blade shape around the physical blade, the weapon can also be utilized as a plasma sword.

• Laser Cannon

Mounted on the "Sand Chariot" Hovercraft, this weapon is a modified, half barrel version of the laser cannon used by warships. Powered by the hovercraft's large battery unit, the laser cannon is effective against GN Drive Tau-powered machines and is fitted on Klaus' AEU Enact Landstriker Package after Klaus joined Katharon.

• Defense Rod

Mounted on the forearm, the defense rod is a defensive device that uses rotary motions to deflect/ricochet incoming enemy projectiles, and can generate a plasma field upon contact with the projectile to reduce the impact, etc. The defense rod may break if hit by an attack on its front side.

Special Equipment & Features

• Luminescence Facial Patterns

As with the standard Enact, Klaus' Enact can generate various luminescence patterns on both sides of its face via the facial sensor elements. Presumably, these patterns are for intimidation and optical communications. It is unclear how the patterns are controlled.

• "Sand Chariot" Hovercraft

A buddy craft like the AEU-MA07013 Agrissa Type 13, it docks with a mobile suit's lower body and grants the ability to hover across the desert at high speed. The "Sand Chariot" hovercraft can also function as an independent mobile armor, and with slight adjustments, it can be used on water bodies.

• Smoke Discharger

A smoke discharger is fitted on the left shoulder of Klaus' Enact.

History

Klaus Grad successfully used his Enact Landstriker Package to lure Amy Zimbalist and his GNX-604T Advanced GN-X away from the Earth Sphere Federation Army base he was guarding. With this, Klaus' fellow Katharon members were able to assault the base and blew it up.
